CURRENT CATEGORIES OF HOUSING REVITALIZATION

Commercial to Residential

A neighborhood health clinic recently relocated, leaving a county-owned building available for re-purposing.

The CLT, in partnership with First Nations Health Services will renovate the building into an 8-bed group home.

Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU)

StreetVision owns a sub-standard duplex. We are renovating the duplex, and adding a casita (ADU) to ensure the maximum number of housing units allowed on that property. Both the property with the duplex and the casita (which will be moved to the property) were donated and should be occupied by Jan 2026..

A colorful wooden signpost with messages such as 'Never Gave up' and 'Joy' is attached to a bright blue post. Behind the signpost, there's a chain-link fence with a person standing on the other side, and some scattered trash and dried leaves on the ground.

New Cottage Development

Working with focus groups that include neighbors and future tenants, and IMPROVE Group, SV is now developing a 20-unit cottage village on four adjoining empty lots.

Vacant Land to Housing

SV currently has 3 vacant lots in the pipeline to be developed.  Each of these is zoned differently, but we will diligently work to ensure maximum housing density is achieved for each, while still being consistent with housing in the neighborhood.
